A broken column stands in St. Mark’s Cemetery in Vienna as a memorial to “W.A. Mozart 1756-1791.”  During a brief life spaning 35 years, Brother Mozart composed immortal music at a prodigious rate, often writing those works without correction, as if he was taking dictation directly from God.  Then, while at the height of his creative powers, he was cut down, but not before creating a sublime opera based on Freemasonry – De Zauberflote or The Magic Flute.
